One Bread, One Body
Welcome engaged couples! In order to make the planning of your wedding Mass or ceremony
go as smoothly as possible, we have included all of the information you need for planning your wedding music here.
**Before continuing, please click here to read a document regarding wedding music selection. It is very important to read through this before selecting your music.**
Please note that you will need to do the following at least two months prior to your wedding:
* Choose musicians: A cantor, i.e. soloist, and an accompanist - both must be musicians who currently serve in our parish. We strongly suggest that engaged couples attend our different Masses and request an accompanist and a cantor if there is a preference. Alternately, you may request that we schedule an accompanist and cantor for you.
* Choose music for your ceremony or Mass: Please click 'Wedding Music Selection Form' under 'Links' on this screen to choose and submit your music choices. The form provides a guide for you in choosing your music; all music choices must be liturgically appropriate and are subject to approval by the Pastor and wedding music coordinator. If you have any questions regard the suitability of a music selection, please contact Jessica Donohue at [email protected].
Please note: This form must be submitted a minimum of two months before your wedding date. This ensures that musicians have an appropriate period for preparing/rehearsing for your wedding.
If you have any questions regarding any aspect of choosing music or musicians for your wedding, please contact Jessica Donohue at [email protected].
Thank you and God's blessing to you and best wishes on your engagement!
